About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a visible, hands-on floor presence (approximately 90% hands-on, 10% administrative) supporting patients, families, staff, and visitors
- Coordinate internal events, staff celebrations, themed initiatives, and logistics including vendors, meals, setup, and supplies
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and follow-through to prevent gaps and ensure completion
- Act as a trusted on-site resource for day-to-day experience decisions and navigate unexpected situations with professionalism and sound judgment
- Partner with facility leadership to maintain hospitality standards, support team culture, and align the environment with organizational values
Requirements
- Background in hospitality, guest services, events, healthcare, or other fast-paced people-centered environments
- Demonstrated real-time problem solving, emotional intelligence, and creative decision-making abilities
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to anticipate needs and follow through without constant direction
- Availability to work approximately 25% of hours after 5:00 PM to support shift transitions, night staff, and operational needs
- Comfort with high visibility, adaptability, and hands-on involvement in a 24/7 emergency care setting
