About the role
Responsibilities
- Create and manage regional patient engagement plans, including educational events and community engagements.
- Deliver in-depth disease state and product education to empower patients and caregivers navigating rare disease journeys.
- Execute field visits at infusion centers and healthcare organizations to provide training on dosing, administration, and REMS requirements.
- Support ongoing REMS certifications of infusion sites and ensure compliance with regulatory components.
- Partner with advocacy groups and the Patient Advocacy Team to drive regional engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Medical, and Marketing, to align patient education initiatives with business strategies.
- Capture and report local business insights to improve the patient experience and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of business experience in the healthcare or biotech industry.
- BA/BS Degree is required.
- Previous experience working with IV infused products.
- Ability to travel 60-80% within the assigned territory, including potential evening and weekend travel.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders and large groups.
- Ability to work independently and manage field activities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of field-based experience in account management, sales, or patient education.
- Experience in rare disease support or a background in nursing, allied health, or healthcare administration.
- Familiarity with REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies) requirements and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).
- Understanding of the rare disease advocacy landscape.
