About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls and schedule patients
- Verify insurance eligibility and receive co-pay payments
- Update patient accounts and maintain patient care database
- Coordinate schedules with Dentists and Hygienists
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Greet arriving patients and manage waiting area expectations
- Follow safety policies to prevent the spread of diseases
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Strong organization and phone etiquette
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of dental office experience
