About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist radiology technologists with patient positioning, lifting, and moving for examinations
  • Perform clinical tasks including starting IVs and administering or dispensing contrast
  • Monitor patient safety and communicate observations or concerns to the technologist
  • Maintain equipment and supplies by cleaning rooms, stocking IV carts, and checking emergency equipment
  • Provide clerical support such as answering phones, scheduling procedures, and entering data into the Epic/Radiant system
  • Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or patient lifts

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy
  • Knowledge of radiation safety principles
  • Experience with venipuncture

Preferred Qualifications

  • BCLS certification
  • 2 years of patient care experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and aseptic techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
