Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient day to day operations of clinical areas
• Implement continuous improvement and project management practices to strengthen clinic processes
• Perform financial and administrative responsibilities to ensure effective site operation
• Contribute to staff development and promote a collaborative learning environment
• Perform human resources responsibilities in collaboration with the nurse manager
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high standards of quality and optimal patient care outcomes

Requirements

• BScN Baccalaureate in Nursing or Baccalaureate level education with Diploma in Nursing
• Current certificate of competency (licensure) from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Three years of nursing experience, including supervisory experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
• Strong leadership, motivational, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with multi-disciplinary professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Experience with project management or Lean process improvement
• Membership within a professional nursing association
