About the role
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls for appointments using professional phone etiquette
- Schedule patient appointments in accordance with physician and department requirements
- Update patient information including address, phone number, name, and insurance details
- Identify insurance plans requiring referrals and manage the referral process
- Reschedule appointments and assist with departmental paperwork
- Perform patient check-in procedures and other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of customer service experience with strong communication skills
- 2+ years of experience working in healthcare settings
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
