Patient Care Assistant II - Medical Imaging

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with the completion of patient care activities, considering the patient's developmental level.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake, and output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide safe transportation.
• Support clinical operations within the General Radiology/CT department.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with hospital policy.
• Comply with safety management programs to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Promote a patient and family-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• PCA training, PCA experience, or active enrollment in a health care related education program.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification within 2 weeks of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of STNA experience in a hospital setting.
• Existing CPR certification at the time of hire.
