Patient Advocate/Hospitality Assistant

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a patient-centered focus by engaging with patients, visitors, and staff
• Prioritize patient needs including answering questions, resolving issues, running errands, and providing meals
• Provide a warm welcome and prepare/deliver refreshments
• Oversee organizing, planning, and prioritization of workflow within the Hospitality Department
• Plan daily tasks and anticipate facility and patient needs
• Complete administrative tasks including documentation of Van Usage and Credit Card logs
• Act as lead on shift with Hospitality Assistant
• Participate in community marketing events

Requirements

• Customer service experience in high-volume, high-stress environments
• Understanding of clinical care and privacy
• Current driver’s license with no restrictions
• Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
• Flexibility to meet scheduling demands
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English
• High school Diploma or GED
• Ability to demonstrate competency of Physical Assessment within 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in direct patient care
