Patient Access Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage all patient registration for in-patient and out-patient services
• Operate a multi-line phone system, answering and transferring calls for NMH and NMCC
• Maintain a visitor-friendly atmosphere in the admissions area
• Assist patients, visitors, and co-workers with questions or concerns
• Perform other office duties as required

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum keyboarding speed of 50 WPM
• Knowledge of 10-key
• Ability to comprehend, retain, and apply information
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in office procedures
