Patient Access Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities including medical oncology scheduling, medical records, operators, and front office functions.
• Supervise non-clinical staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, and managing performance and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate office procedures between the front office and clinic to ensure smooth communication and information flow.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle and Clinical Operations leadership to ensure consistency in processes and procedures.
• Implement reimbursement policies and systems to maximize efficiency in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage office facilities, procurement of supplies, and maintenance of office equipment and machines.
• Work directly with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other leadership to support practice goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of medical office management experience.
• Proven experience supervising non-clinical staff.
• Strong knowledge of medical office systems and administrative procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing/sitting for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
