About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational activities including medical oncology scheduling, medical records, operators, and front office functions.
- Supervise non-clinical staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, and managing performance and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate office procedures between the front office and clinic to ensure smooth communication and information flow.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle and Clinical Operations leadership to ensure consistency in processes and procedures.
- Implement reimbursement policies and systems to maximize efficiency in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage office facilities, procurement of supplies, and maintenance of office equipment and machines.
- Work directly with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other leadership to support practice goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of medical office management experience.
- Proven experience supervising non-clinical staff.
- Strong knowledge of medical office systems and administrative procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing/sitting for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
