Patient Access Concierge

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors graciously, serving as the first point of contact for the facility.
• Provide assistance, directions, and information to ensure a satisfying registration experience.
• Maintain awareness of patient sequence and keep patients in the lobby informed and comfortable.
• Assist in identifying patients who require registration by Admitting personnel.
• Maintain wheelchair availability in the lobby area and ensure the cleanliness of work areas and supply cabinets.
• Respect patient confidentiality and maintain a high level of discretion at all times.
• Monitor and respond to email notifications within a 24-hour period.
• Comply with all organizational Code of Conduct and compliance policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or a higher level degree.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to operate general office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, and telephones.
• Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role.
• Bilingual skills.
