Pathology Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Clinical Pathology Team in Phoenix, AZ
• Manage pathologist scheduling and coordinate coverage for fluctuating caseloads
• Facilitate Pathology Quality Assurance (QA) activities and assist in preparation for regulatory inspections
• Update and report on Pathology department metrics and performance
• Develop agendas and record meeting minutes for weekly and quarterly departmental meetings
• Act as a central point of contact between Clinical Pathology and other laboratory operations groups
• Manage management calendars, appointments, and departmental events
• Maintain electronic filing systems and assist with consulting contracts and purchase orders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience providing administrative support
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Basic computer skills, including internet navigation and email usage
• Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science field
• 3+ years of administrative support experience within the Biotech, Clinical Laboratory, or Life Science industry
