Responsibilities

• Code-Level IP Harvesting: Dive into repos and PRs to identify patentable breakthroughs in causal AI and HPC optimization
• Build the "Causal Moat": Lead the strategy for protecting proprietary technology and custom causal algorithms
• Forensic Documentation: Implement rigorous defensibility hygiene, including timestamps and version-controlled records of invention
• End-to-End Prosecution: Draft and manage high-quality patent applications and act as the bridge to the USPTO
• Portfolio Strategy: Manage the global IP portfolio and decide between patenting vs. trade secrets

Requirements

• USPTO Registered Patent Attorney (J.D.) or highly experienced Patent Agent
• 4–8 years of experience at a top-tier firm or in-house
• Technical proficiency in reading Python/C++ or complex technical architecture diagrams
• Degree in CS, EE, Physics, or Math
• Proven track record of winning Section 101 battles in AI/Software
