Patent Associate/Agent

Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications in the computer arts, including software, AI/ML/LLMs, FinTech, web applications, telecommunications, and integrated circuits
• Prosecute patent applications
• Represent petitioners at the PTAB and handle IPR filings
• Work directly with clients to address technical and legal needs

Requirements

• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and/or computer science preferred
• Mechanical engineering degrees or other relevant technical experience will be considered
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Excellent academic credentials

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience drafting complex software patent applications
• Focused experience in computer arts (AI/ML, FinTech, etc.)
