Patent Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage patent prosecution for mechanical and chemical technologies
• Handle chemical or materials science patent applications as needed
• Communicate technical and legal concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Prior patent prosecution experience as an agent or attorney
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience working with mechanical technologies
• Ability to handle chemical or materials science patent applications
• USPTO registration
• Admission to a state bar from a relevant state or wave-in capability
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a relevant engineering field
