About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level calendar management to the Managing Partner and assigned partners
  • Prepare briefing materials for meetings and events
  • Serve as a primary contact for partners and triage demands for their time
  • Prepare and proof required patent filing documents for review and signature
  • Review partner dockets and proactively prepare formality documents
  • Manage U.S. and foreign client reporting workflows
  • Liaise with other firm departments and practice groups
  • Assist with virtual file upkeep and maintenance

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of related U.S. patent filing experience
  • Prior docket management experience for a partner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoom
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of patent-specific systems
  • Experience directly supporting executive leaders
  • Ability to anticipate needs and respond with urgency
