About the role
Responsibilities
- Contribute to creating innovative pastry creations and exceptional leavened products
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the commis team with respect and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Manage priorities and stress during high-volume service periods
- Support all F&B outlets including breakfast, Room Service, Bar Gabbiano, and Il Porticciolo
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in luxury hotel pastry departments or high-end restaurants
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Deep knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent ability to manage stress and priorities
- Proficiency in Italian and strong communication skills
- Valid legal documentation to work in Italy (for non-EU candidates)
