Pastry Demi Chef de Partie

Responsibilities

• Assist Sous Chefs and Chef de Parties in the preparation and service of all pastry and bakery items
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness for designated kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow established procedures, methods, and recipes to manage the section
• Ensure correct storage, rotation, and labeling of food stuffs and dry goods
• Participate in the training of commis and apprentice chefs
• Contribute to the production and development of dishes for all outlets
• Report and rectify potential health and safety hazards immediately
• Adhere to all departmental Fire, Emergency, and Bomb procedures

Requirements

• Ability to work on a rota basis
• Proven track record of providing high service levels under pressure
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Willingness to contribute to a 24h operational schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment
• Experience working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards
