Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality pastry and dessert items, appetizers, and select entrée components
- Ensure consistency in quality, portion sizes, and recipes
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstations, including ovens, fryers, and refrigeration equipment
- Handle, store, label, and rotate products according to food safety guidelines
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish standards
- Maintain adequate stock levels at assigned stations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen closing procedures
- Adhere to all company safety, sanitation, and health policies
Requirements
- Passion for food and delivering an exceptional dining experience
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in kitchen preparation and/or cooking preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours)
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20+ pounds
