About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead by example as a hands on Pastry Cook ensuring the quality and consistency of all products served
- Prepare desserts to the standards set by the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine
- Maintain accurate records of all food ingredients for pastry
- Record recipes, tally costs, and update them on an ongoing basis
- Identify and correct issues impacting operational effectiveness
- Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Professionally handle special requests and guest allergies
Requirements
- Minimum of two years progressive experience in a pastry capacity
- Knowledge of new trends in presentation and preparation
- Proven ability to work well with a team and individually
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

- Culinary degree or diploma
