Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and finishing of desserts, doughs, fillings, and toppings
- Organize daily pastry production to ensure efficiency and quality standards
- Ensure correct handling, storage, and preservation of ingredients following food safety norms
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry area, utensils, and equipment
- Assist in inventory control and replenishment to reduce waste
- Follow strict quality, presentation, and portioning standards defined by the hotel
- Prepare mise en place according to service demand
- Assist in the assembly and final decoration of products to align with brand aesthetics
Requirements
- Previous experience in pastry, preferably in luxury hotels or high-end establishments
- Knowledge of basic pastry techniques including doughs, creams, and fillings
- Understanding of food handling and food safety best practices
- Strong attention to detail regarding product presentation and finishing
- Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
