About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all food meets standards of taste, presentation, and timeliness
  • Work with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and consistent quality
  • Support menu development through recipe testing and seasonal menu execution
  • Maintain accurate prep lists, portion controls, and waste management
  • Oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and storage areas
  • Ensure compliance with local Health Department and food safety protocols
  • Participate in weekly culinary and operations meetings

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of progressive kitchen experience
  • 1-2 years of baking or pastry experience
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety compliance
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both à la carte and banquet preparation
  • Experience in a club, restaurant, or hotel setting
