Pastry Chef

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute daily mise en place including cuts, sauces, and special ingredients
• Prepare desserts, cookies, sweet sauces, ice creams, and other pastry products following recipes and standards
• Review recipes and instructions before preparation to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Pack, cover, and correctly preserve sauces and mise en place
• Support bakers and pastry chefs in production and service coordination
• Maintain a clean and disinfected workspace following hygiene protocols
• Report shortages of supplies and replenishment needs to the area supervisor
• Strictly comply with recipe elaboration and hotel quality and hygiene standards

Requirements

• Technical degree in Pastry or related field
• Basic to intermediate English level
• Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen and/or pastry
• Technical knowledge in high pastry (techniques, finishes, and assembly)
• Knowledge and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Ability to work in a team and perform efficiently under pressure
• Creativity and innovation for product development and presentation
