About the Company

Cornerstone Energy Services, Inc. specializes in engineering, survey, and land solutions for the energy infrastructure sector. We collaborate closely with developers and operators of oil and gas pipelines and electric transmission systems, supporting both extensive linear projects and site-specific developments.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily functions of the field survey crew(s)
• Download, compile, review, and edit survey data according to company standards
• Manage all aspects of a field survey crew including site logistics, planning, and data acquisition
• Establish effective communication with clients, peers, and crew members
• Conduct tailgate safety meetings with survey crews before each shift
• Recognize and instruct in case of injury or accident according to safety protocols
• Maintain awareness of workload and communicate with the Survey Coordinator or Project Manager

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Ability to pass the Certified Survey Technician (CST) Level II exam and 5-7 years of field survey experience, OR LSIT with 2-5 years of field survey experience
• Proven understanding of field survey data management
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions and hike through various terrains while carrying up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record
• Willingness to travel up to 100%
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and survey data editing tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Basic understanding of CAD
• Understanding of COGO and data collection computations
• Knowledge of survey theory and principles including boundary, topographic, and vertical surveys
