About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain parts inventory integrity
- Manage end-to-end parts ordering, including generating purchase orders and tracking shipments
- Inspect and receive incoming parts to ensure they match orders and quality specifications
- Organize and allocate parts to specific work orders and technicians to maximize efficiency
- Maintain meticulous records of parts transactions, warranties, returns, and core credits
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding lead times, pricing, and availability
- Identify and recommend improvements to storage, organization, and logistics procedures
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Parts Specialist or Parts Advisor in an automotive setting
- Strong understanding of automotive parts, terminology, and inventory control
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer applications
- Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment
