Parts Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain parts inventory integrity
• Manage end-to-end parts ordering, including generating purchase orders and tracking shipments
• Inspect and receive incoming parts to ensure they match orders and quality specifications
• Organize and allocate parts to specific work orders and technicians to maximize efficiency
• Maintain meticulous records of parts transactions, warranties, returns, and core credits
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding lead times, pricing, and availability
• Identify and recommend improvements to storage, organization, and logistics procedures

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Parts Specialist or Parts Advisor in an automotive setting
• Strong understanding of automotive parts, terminology, and inventory control
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer applications
• Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment
