About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Service Manager and Parts person with scheduling work
  • Order parts for jobs and research price and availability
  • Take incoming customer parts calls
  • Write descriptions of work performed for invoicing
  • Look up part numbers in technical manuals and online
  • Pack and ship parts to customers and function as shipper/receiver
  • Maintain stock inventory and order emergency parts
  • Support service manager with customer quoting and technician scheduling

Requirements

  • Previous parts experience preferred
  • Industrial, electrical, or heavy equipment experience is a bonus
  • Proficiency with computers including Excel and Word
  • Ability to perform internet searches
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player mindset
  • Commitment to good customer service
