Parts Sales Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Build productive, professional relationships and strategic partnerships with key personnel in assigned underground customer accounts
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
• Consult with customers about equipment life cycles, maintenance, and replacement budgets
• Assist with quotes for parts, service, and equipment management solutions
• Market after-sales products and services and Caterpillar marketing initiatives
• Compile and submit parts forecasting
• Inspect failed machines, components, or parts with Technical Reps to advise and educate customers
• Achieve targeted budgets, effective expense management, and monthly KPIs

Requirements

• Matric
• B. Tech Sales/Marketing Diploma or Certificate
• Qualified diesel or earthmoving equipment mechanic qualification
• 5 years of Caterpillar experience as an artisan
• Sound technical knowledge of underground products
• Business development and financial management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
