Parts Sales Executive

Responsibilities

• Promote the profitable sale of parts and accessories over sales counters
• Greet customers promptly and provide excellent service face-to-face, via email, and telephonically
• Accurately identify customer requirements using in-house systems (part numbers, chassis, and engine numbers)
• Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through to installation or delivery
• Achieve gross profit targets according to dealer budgets and franchise standards
• Maintain high levels of counter housekeeping and professional company image
• Assist with stock takes and notify supervisors of inventory discrepancies
• Develop and maintain a prospecting database for new customer business
• Manage special orders, warranty parts, and the return of defective or unsold merchandise

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and customer relations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in Parts Sales
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Valid unendorsed driver's license
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity under pressure
• Clean criminal record

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical understanding of heavy commercial vehicles
• Experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)
• Understanding of the financial appreciation of parts
