Parts Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy for customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
• Check-in customer returns, determine appropriate routing/disposition, and issue credit memos as necessary
• Prepare export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Certificate of Origin, and Power of Attorney
• Complete bill of lading documents for common carrier, parcel, and LTL shipments
• Identify, package, and label hazardous materials according to 49CFR and IATA/ICAO regulations
• Maintain warehouse hold areas and request supplier RMAs for identified quality issues
• Coordinate with suppliers to manage defective parts, charge backs, and vendor recovery cases
• Operate forklifts/stand-up trucks and maintain required equipment logs
• Generate reports regarding warranty trends and recovery performance

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in warehousing, order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipment processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook
• Working knowledge of AS/400 and Bar Code scanner systems
• Proficiency in shipment manifest software (e.g., UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds waist high
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work overtime on short notice

Preferred Qualifications

• General technical knowledge of Spartan’s products
• Experience categorizing goods using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
