About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track truck and trailer parts stock levels
  • Order new inventory and transfer invoices to the accounts department
  • Work with Mechanics and Service Coordinators to assign and track issued parts
  • Enter repair and maintenance work into the company database
  • Assist in daily planning of repair and maintenance work schedules
  • Ensure timely service of company equipment and compliance
  • Coordinate with the safety department to notify drivers of services due
  • Pick up parts from dealerships and organize common parts within the shop
  • Handle other shop-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum one-year experience as a Parts clerk or coordinator
  • Knowledge of truck parts and equipment
  • Heavy vehicle aftermarket and parts background
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and extended hours including weekends
