Parts and Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase hardware components including fasteners, mechanical and electronic parts
• Track and maintain accurate inventory records using QR code software
• Process incoming shipments, verify against purchase orders, and manage outgoing materials
• Prepare and stage parts kits for assembly workflows based on weekly demand planning
• Develop and refine part numbering systems and organizational structures
• Maintain organized systems capable of scaling as new product lines are added

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing parts inventory with hundreds to thousands of SKUs
• Familiarity with part numbering systems and inventory tracking software
• Computer literacy with procurement workflows and purchase orders
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Availability during standard business hours (9-5) for receiving and restocking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hardware startup, robotics, or fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Background combining procurement, receiving, and inventory tracking
• Familiarity with supply chain concepts like demand planning and safety stock
