Responsibilities
- Source and purchase hardware components including fasteners, mechanical and electronic parts
- Track and maintain accurate inventory records using QR code software
- Process incoming shipments, verify against purchase orders, and manage outgoing materials
- Prepare and stage parts kits for assembly workflows based on weekly demand planning
- Develop and refine part numbering systems and organizational structures
- Maintain organized systems capable of scaling as new product lines are added
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing parts inventory with hundreds to thousands of SKUs
- Familiarity with part numbering systems and inventory tracking software
- Computer literacy with procurement workflows and purchase orders
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Availability during standard business hours (9-5) for receiving and restocking
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a hardware startup, robotics, or fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Background combining procurement, receiving, and inventory tracking
- Familiarity with supply chain concepts like demand planning and safety stock
