Parts Advisor

Responsibilities

• Manage parts inventory to optimize operations and address business needs
• Maintain accurate parts inventory control systems including perpetual and annual inventories
• Order inventory and special-order parts for vehicle repairs
• Receive and stock parts orders in designated storage areas
• Manage parts transfers between Lucid Service locations
• Generate parts estimates for customers, insurance companies, or internal fleets
• Monitor part revision changes and update local inventory
• Achieve high First Time Fill Rate (FTFR) for the Parts Department
• Organize and oversee parts warranty returns
• Interpret automotive terminology for accurate parts catalog searches
• Promote accessory sales according to company guidelines

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor (back counter)
• Proficiency in parts catalog searching
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license with no recent suspensions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary DMS software
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification and complete CPR training
• Availability for full-time work including weekends or extended hours

Preferred Qualifications

• AA/BS in Automotive Technology or Business Management
• Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains
• Experience in start-up or fast-paced environments
• Previous OEM Parts training
