Responsibilities

  • Design and implement standardized process improvement across the full partnership lifecycle
  • Develop workflows, templates, and documentation standards for consistent practice
  • Support the development of partnership tracking systems covering contractual, financial, and technical metrics
  • Design structured tools and criteria to support transparent partner selection and due diligence
  • Improve structure, accessibility, and consistency of partnership-related data across systems
  • Develop analytical tools and dashboards to support portfolio-level visibility
  • Design and implement tools for consistent risk identification and escalation
  • Co-design and roll out solutions collaboratively with Finance, Programs, Legal, and IT teams
  • Deliver targeted training for CIMMYT teams on partnership management and donor compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, agriculture, or international development
  • 5+ years supporting oversight of partnership management systems in complex organizations
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret partner financial reports and risk indicators
  • Experience with financial controls, internal controls frameworks, or audit remediation
  • Proven experience designing and implementing frameworks, procedures, or tools
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international multicultural environments
  • Strong problem-solving and implementation skills
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like Dynamics 365 and contract management platforms like Icertis
  • Exposure to data governance and information management practices
