About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a focused book of West Coast PE relationships across SF and LA
- Conduct introductory and qualification calls with PE firms and portfolio companies
- Proactively generate new pipeline through outbound prospecting
- Build and maintain prioritized target lists using research and data tools
- Collaborate with account executives to ensure timely follow-up on opportunities
- Coordinate with Partner Marketing on event logistics and field events
- Maintain clean and enriched CRM records
- Analyze leading indicators such as meetings sourced and referral conversion rates
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in PE business development, sourcing, or partnerships
- Established credibility in the private equity ecosystem
- Track record of success in outbound relationship development
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Based in San Francisco and comfortable with frequent in-market networking
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate autonomously
