Partner Engineer

At Parafin, we’re on a mission to grow small businesses. We build tech that makes it simple for small businesses to access the financial tools they need through the platforms they already sell on. We partner with companies like DoorDash, Amazon, Worldpay, and Mindbody to offer fast and flexible funding, spend management, and savings tools.

Responsibilities

• Own partner implementations and scale technical onboarding to reduce integration time
• Drive technical implementation of new capital launches from planning through go-live
• Act as the central point of contact for identifying and debugging critical technical issues
• Document integration details and processes for internal and partner use
• Capture integration feedback to influence product roadmap, APIs, and platform improvements
• Provide ongoing technical account management and monitoring post-launch
• Drive tooling and automation to scale repeatable integration patterns
• Instrument telemetry, logs, and dashboards to monitor partner integrations at scale

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in client-facing technical roles (post-sales engineering, software integration, or technical partner support)
• Strong engineering background with fluency in at least 2 programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, data pipelines, and embeddable UI components
• Ability to navigate codebase with proficiency in React, Scala, and Python
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience creating working demos and production applications
• Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of fintech industry best practices for integration and technical scoping
• Familiarity with SQL
• Experience working in Fintech
