About the role
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day relationships with signed partners in Japan as the single point of contact
- Drive partner onboarding across sales training, technical enablement, and support operations
- Ensure partner readiness to deploy and resell OpenAI solutions through milestone tracking and QBRs
- Orchestrate co-developed solutions by defining use cases and localizing technical documentation
- Monitor partner performance and drive remediation or acceleration plans
- Coordinate across internal teams including Sales, Solution Engineering, and Customer Success
- Establish operational rhythms such as roadmap briefings and asset distribution
- Ensure compliance with partnership agreements and commercial terms
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in alliances, partner success, or sales in enterprise software or systems integration
- Strong understanding of partner GTM motions and activation
- Experience working with partners at the executive level
- Experience working with strategic advisory firms
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Strong program management skills and ability to hold stakeholders accountable
- Familiarity with the Japanese enterprise ecosystem
- Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional fluency in English
