Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source new partner opportunities with the accounting sector through inbound qualification and direct outreach
  • Engage and qualify prospective partners via emails, calls, social channels, conferences and events
  • Conduct in-depth primary and secondary research to understand service offerings and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Channel partner Managers, Marketing, Operations and Direct Sales
  • Educate accounting leaders and firm stakeholders on Ramp’s partnership program
  • Ideate on new and unique ways to build and develop partner relationships
  • Maintain accurate partner relationship data within Salesforce

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills and professional phone and Zoom presence
  • High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and both virtual and in-person engagement
  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency
  • Deep interest in understanding specific business challenges within different verticals
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of urgency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in client-facing or sales roles in business development, consulting or investment banking
  • Prior experience partnering with or selling to accounting firms or financial advisors
  • Prior CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience at a high-growth startup
  • Ability to understand financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
