About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach part-time courses in the Communication Studies Department
- Instruct students in subjects such as Public Speaking, Business and Professional Speaking, Visual Communication, Communication Ethics, and Media History
- Support students of diverse academic strengths through effective instruction
- Deliver course content related to Communication Studies and Media and Screen Studies
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Communication or a related field
- MFA considered for production-focused offerings
- Valid US work authorization (sponsorship is not provided)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse student body
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of college-level teaching experience in Communication Studies
