About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and facilitate engaging activities for foundational writing courses, including Introduction to Academic Writing and Introduction to Research Writing.
- Submit course syllabi at the start of each semester.
- Assign written coursework and provide timely, ongoing feedback and final grading.
- Conduct student conferences outside of regular classroom hours.
- Adhere to all course requirements and university academic integrity policies.
Requirements
- M.A. in English, MFA, or a graduate degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching genre-based prose writing.
- Strong reading skills and ability to foster critical thinking in students.
- Ability to provide face-to-face instruction on campus.
