Responsibilities
- Teach courses within the new general education (CORE) curriculum across various disciplines
- Align instruction with University outcomes, including written/oral/visual communication, inquiry and analysis, and ethical reasoning
- Support student learning through first-year learning communities, data analysis, research writing, or mid-level exploration courses
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that emphasizes diversity, equity, and community engagement
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience teaching writing or other forms of communication within your area of expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience in a higher education setting
- Strong civic or community connections
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering leadership and understanding of equity and inclusion
