Part-Time General Education (CORE) Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach courses within the new general education (CORE) curriculum across various disciplines
• Align instruction with University outcomes, including written/oral/visual communication, inquiry and analysis, and ethical reasoning
• Support student learning through first-year learning communities, data analysis, research writing, or mid-level exploration courses
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that emphasizes diversity, equity, and community engagement

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience teaching writing or other forms of communication within your area of expertise

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching experience in a higher education setting
• Strong civic or community connections
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering leadership and understanding of equity and inclusion
