Part-time Faculty, Theatre and Dance

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Theatre and/or Dance as assigned by the department chair
• Develop and submit comprehensive course syllabi
• Plan and update curriculum to ensure academic rigor and relevance
• Deliver engaging instruction to promote student success
• Assess student performance and submit grades in accordance with university deadlines
• Communicate regularly with students, departments, and university officials
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues to foster a dynamic learning environment

Requirements

• Earned bachelor's degree in dance, theatre arts, or a related field
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Earned Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theatre or Dance
• Demonstrated experience teaching acting, playwriting, directing, or dance
