Part-Time Faculty: Theater Management Practicum

Responsibilities

• Develop and update class syllabi for the DRM 381 Theater Management Practicum course
• Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments focused on practical theater management applications
• Deliver instruction based on course competencies and performance levels
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support student learning
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
• Build positive rapport with students and fellow faculty members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Theater or Theater Management
• 5+ years of professional experience in a theatrical setting
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Close working relationship with Syracuse Stage
