About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach TRF 205 Sight, Sound, and Motion during the Fall 2026 semester (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00-3:20 PM)
  • Develop a comprehensive course syllabus and prepare all instructional materials
  • Facilitate the study of aesthetic concepts and production processes in film, television, and digital media
  • Hold weekly on-campus office hours to support student learning and mentorship
  • Grade student assignments and examinations in a timely manner
  • Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in communications or a related field
  • Substantial professional background in film or digital video production
  • Expertise in the use of industry-standard editing software
  • Ability to instruct classes at the designated times and hold office hours on campus
  • Proficiency in operating standard classroom instructional technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
