About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach TRF 205 Sight, Sound, and Motion during the Fall 2026 semester (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00-3:20 PM)
- Develop a comprehensive course syllabus and prepare all instructional materials
- Facilitate the study of aesthetic concepts and production processes in film, television, and digital media
- Hold weekly on-campus office hours to support student learning and mentorship
- Grade student assignments and examinations in a timely manner
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in communications or a related field
- Substantial professional background in film or digital video production
- Expertise in the use of industry-standard editing software
- Ability to instruct classes at the designated times and hold office hours on campus
- Proficiency in operating standard classroom instructional technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
