Part-Time Faculty: Production and Product Management

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach one advanced course per week on Production and Product Management
• Develop and update course syllabi, lectures, projects, and student assignments
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to support student learning
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
• Build positive rapport with students and fellow faculty members

Requirements

• MFA in Film, Film Production, Film and Media Arts, Motion Pictures, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in filmmaking or film production
• Active or recent industry practice, including professional film credits
• Familiarity with guild and union agreements (e.g., SAG-AFTRA, IATSE, DGA, WGA)
• Experience supervising student productions or managing production teams
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of emerging production workflows, including AI-assisted tools
• Experience with global co-production models
