Part-Time Faculty - Policy, Planning, and Management

Responsibilities

• Teach the Food Planning and Policy (PPM 672) course for the Fall 2026 semester
• Deliver full course instruction, including seminar-style readings and structured discussions
• Assess student performance and manage all grading responsibilities
• Meet with students as needed to support learning and academic progress
• Utilize provided learning objectives, program competencies, and suggested topical outlines to guide instruction

Requirements

• Graduate degree in public policy, food policy, or a closely related field
• Ability to teach on-site in Portland, ME

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching at the college level
