About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive syllabus and prepare all course materials for MMI 510
- Provide in-person classroom instruction for a five-week course on creative freelance business models
- Hold weekly office hours on campus to support student learning and engagement
- Grade student assignments and examinations in a timely manner
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades in accordance with University regulations
- Coordinate the ordering of required books and materials for students
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven teaching experience
- Ability to instruct classes in person on Thursday evenings (6:30 PM – 9:15 PM)
- Ability to hold scheduled office hours on the Syracuse campus
- Proficiency in operating standard classroom instructional technology (computers, projectors, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Professional experience in creative freelance industries such as graphic design, writing, photography, video/audio production, or digital content creation
