Part-Time Faculty: MBU 683 Entertainment Industry Exploration

Responsibilities

• Teach the MBU 683 Entertainment Industry Exploration graduate capstone course in Los Angeles during the Fall 2026 semester.
• Guide students through building real-world businesses, focusing on market analysis, monetization, and entrepreneurial challenges.
• Act as an executive coach to help students navigate professional communications, networking, and business pivots.
• Develop a comprehensive syllabus and prepare all necessary course materials.
• Hold weekly office hours to provide mentorship and support to students.
• Grade assignments and examinations in a timely manner and submit progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.

Requirements

• Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with significant relevant industry experience.
• Proven track record of leadership within a business segment or successful entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial experience.
• Experience managing or working closely with young professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to execute a 14-week course syllabus.
• Ability to teach on-site in Los Angeles on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching at the university level.
