About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach the MBU 683 Entertainment Industry Exploration graduate capstone course on-site in Los Angeles during the Fall 2026 semester.
- Guide students through building real-world businesses, focusing on market analysis, monetization, and entrepreneurial validation.
- Act as an executive coach to challenge students to find paths to success and pivot when necessary.
- Develop a comprehensive syllabus and prepare all necessary course materials.
- Hold weekly office hours to provide mentorship and support to students.
- Manage all grading, including timely assignment feedback and submission of mid-semester and final progress reports.
Requirements
- Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with significant relevant industry experience.
- Proven track record of leadership within a business segment or successful entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial experience.
- Experience managing or working closely with young professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to execute a structured 14-week course syllabus.
- Ability to teach on-site in Los Angeles on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching at the university level.
