Part-Time Faculty: Jazz Dance IV

Responsibilities

• Teach DRA 435 Jazz Dance IV, an upper-level course for Musical Theater majors, twice per week for 80 minutes.
• Create, adapt, or update a current course syllabus.
• Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments.
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours.
• Present instruction based on the specific competencies and performance levels of the course.
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
• Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
• Build positive rapport with students and fellow faculty members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience teaching dance at the college level.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
