Part-Time Faculty: Introduction to Spanish Literature

Responsibilities

• Teach one 3-credit section of SPA 321: Introduction to Spanish Literature during the Fall 2026 semester
• Develop and update class syllabi and prepare lectures, projects, and student assignments
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours of two hours per week
• Present instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the class
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
• Build positive rapport with students and faculty members

Requirements

• Master’s Degree required
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in university-level teaching
