About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach one 3-credit section of SPA 321: Introduction to Spanish Literature during the Fall 2026 semester
- Develop and update class syllabi and prepare lectures, projects, and student assignments
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours of two hours per week
- Present instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the class
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
- Submit mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations
- Build positive rapport with students and faculty members
Requirements
- Master’s Degree required
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish required

- Experience in university-level teaching
